Wave springs are further divided into two categories: WS series wave springs and WSS series wave springs.
(1) WS Series Wave Springs
The WS series is a continuously wound, staggered-crest type wave spring. The characteristic of this series is that it can provide ideal elastic force in a small installation space, saving 50% of the space compared to ordinary helical springs.
(2) WSS Series Wave Springs
The WSS series is a staggered-crest type wave spring with flat coils. In addition to possessing the advantages of WS type wave springs, the flat coils at both ends of the spring are equivalent to adding two washers, resulting in a more uniform elastic force during use. It is particularly suitable for environments where the two ends of the installation space have holes, where the WS type wave crests are easily trapped in the holes and cannot be used.
According to the manufacturing process: stamped wave springs and wound wave springs.
